Project Management
Web development projects can be a large undertaking for both the development house and the client. To ensure the successful delivery of your project Zest will appoint a senior project manager who will ensure that the three key components of any project, scope, cost and time are managed in a clear transparent manner that ensure the successful delivery of the project.
Communication
Clear communication is key to the success of any project. Zest will establish a project communication plan that meets the requirements of all stake holders prior to the project beginning.
These can take the form of regular status reports and project meetings for larger pieces of work through to simple email updates on status for smaller discrete projects.
Quality Assurance
Web development at Zest Media is strictly quality controlled from start to finish. All code that Zest produces is rigorously tested and checked to ensure that it meets the industry standards for best practice.
A testing process is in place and includes the use of test cases, quality assurance testing, bug tracking and user acceptance testing (which the client is required to complete). Once the site has passed Zest’s rigorous QA process and our client’s UAT it is then certified to go live and be viewable to the public.
Enhancement
After the site is completed and live, Zest Media will continue its support by staying in regular contact with the client. Through this regular interaction Zest will be able to enter into an open and honest dialogue regarding the site’s ongoing performance.
Any suggestions for future enhancement or proactive improvements will be documented and presented to the client for consideration.
Monitoring Site Traffic
We implement Google analytics to track all site access, pages visited and goals tracked within the site. This is generally agreed as both Zest and our clients preferred method to track and monitor the output of a sites performance.
After a predetermined period of time the client and Zest can agree to evaluate the performance of the site and determine if it is meeting the client’s needs. Based upon the results of this evaluation the client may choose to commission enhancements that introduce new performance related features that may be desirable in the new site.
On Going Support
Zest Media believes that the ongoing support of any site we build is just as important as the initial development. We ensure that the same highly skilled developers involved in the build of the site are involved in the support of it.
