This video is hosted locally on our NZ server and buffers an amount of data based on trying to avoid a rebuffering occurring during playback. Suited for most standard video solutions where the amount of simultaneous users watching the video is low and they are located in the pacific.
User is unable to skip to a portion of the video unless it has already downloaded to that point.
CDN Network Buffered Video
This video is on the Akamai CDN network and buffers an amount of data based on trying to avoid a rebuffering occuring during playback. Best suited if your video watchers are located around the globe and you are expecting that you may have a larger volume of simultaneous users watch the video at the same time.
User is unable to skip to a portion of the video unless it has already downloaded to that point.
CDN Network Streaming Video
On the Akamai CDN streaming network so supports an unlimited number of simultaneous users watching the video around the globe. Best suited for high volumes of users and internationally accessible videos.
User can skip to any part of the video and start playing from that point onwards.
